Yealink T57W will not register without SBC

We would like to pull the SBC from the network but can't get our router phone (Yealink T57W) to register without it.
When provisioning the phone I selected connect directly ( image taken from https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/ip-phones/) but it will not register. I am able to access the phone via the web interface. I have tried adding the phone with the SBC and then going in and changing the outbound proxy server the FQDN of our 3cx cloud server but the phone will not register like that. I feel like I'm close, but need some guidance. EDIT: I also have made sure the phones IP is allowed in the blacklist

Hi,

In this specific order:

1. Upgrade https://www.3cx.com/docs/phone-firmwares/
2. Delete phone
3. Add again as Direct
4. Factory reset and wait

You can trust the device to pull the correct settings automatically when done as above, no need to manually edit anything at all.

Problem ended up being that the firmware from the phone manufacturer (Yealink) was not the one that would make the phone work with 3CX. Didn't realize there would be firmware supplied by 3CX that would be more up to date than Yealink's.

That's almost always the case in my experience. It just takes time to make them, ship them, and sell them.
