Yealink T58 and 3cx v15.5 current version, only "Make Call" functionality?

I have about 40 of these phones together with the 3CX PBX (on premises), and all phone support dialing using CSTA. Also I have 2 phones at remote locations, both provisioned via STUN. One of these phones can only dial using the Make Call function. However the firmware is "supported". on first install the firmware was on a lower level, but I upgrade it after integration into the pbx. Still only "Make Call".
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Are you using the web client of the windows client for controlling the IP Phone?

Yes, the Windows Client in CTI mode. It run on a Terminalserver inside the company where the pbx system is hosted

Please note that the windows client does not use CSTA for controlling as it still uses the CTI via Https. Therefore if the phones are not is the same network as the server and the clients "Make Call" will be used. I would recommend using the web client for the remote users

But:
When will the webclient be on par with the windows client? Currently, it occupies about 4 times the screen space as the windows client. There is no single sign on for the web-client - do you expect people to type in a password like "lskHG#9023bsf" everytime you start the web-client when saving passwords is not recommended? The webclient can be terminated with a simple click. No calls will be notified after closing the window. The windows client includes functionality to dial "Tel" links from any browser, The Web client only has this working for chrome and partially for FF (but uses CPU to search the whole website for a phone number) instead of installing a handler for "tel" html links.

Since a majority of office users use windows (I guess), a native Application for this OS should be actively developed side by side withe the webclient and others. You have an android client, an ios client, why does 3cx drop the Windows client , as long as you cannot deliver a web based application which matches the features of the native client?

The web client will continue to be developed and more features will be added with every update. The 3CX client for windows will still be there but with limited functionality.
