Yealink W52P - Cannot Connect

Was hoping someone could shed some light on this. I'm stuck, and I really could use someone to show me the light and add to my troubleshooting tree.

First time forum poster, long time reader.

Moved company to a new server and rebuilt it from scratch. Everything worked well for the most part except for the W52P.
Previous Firmware was 25.81.0.60, I then downgraded to Firmware Version 25.81.0.30. Massive factory resets, and starting over trying to catch some kind of mistake on inputs.

There was a custom xml for the 52 that was in version 16 that I tried as well. I've whitelisted the IP and nothing shows in the event logs.

Appreciate any insight. Much appreciated.

Hi there. I tried this as well. I believe it's not the supported way, but you are correct there is an option for it and I have tried it with no luck.

The guide is pretty clear on the point of "IP phone on local network": you need to use the IP of 3CX, not the FQDN.

Hi John, looking at the guide again it does state: “Server Host”: Enter “Registrar Hostname or IP” with no mention of not using the FQDN. This is under step 4.

That's what i thought, so you need to use a local SBC.

Installed SBC on a server and boom, we are up and running. I have never had the need for a SBC until now. Will keep this trick in my tool belt.
