Is there a way to use shared parking with a Yealink W56H phone? If not any plan to add this with a firmware upgrade?

Hi Jim,

There are no plans for shared parking on DECT phones.

I would suggest to use Parking Orbits instead:

Can park orbits be programmed on BLFs for Yealink T46U?

Not like BLFs.

An alternative that people sometimes use is to create dummy extensions (with an exception rule) that forward to a shared parking, and then have the DECT phone transfer to the dummy extension.This way you can use the BLFs on Yealink T46U to monitor the Shared Parking like usual.

- DECT phone transfers a call to dummy extension ie. 200
- Dummy extension has this exception defined
- Caller ends up in SP1
- SP1 BLF on T46U changes color

Is there a way to answer a shared parked call or a similar work around? Or would the called have to be transferred to the extension of the DECT phone?

Just call your dummy extension, any call parked there will be retrieved.
