Hi, we've just implemented a W80DM (with W80B for extra range) using dual W57R handsets to share the same extension.

We have just replaced W52P handsets (with W52 base units) which used to allow paired handsets to share the ext and ring at the same time. I've checked and we don't have any call groups or queues setup and only one extension for this group.

I can add the handsets and assign to the same ext within the DECT Manager (using the same credentials) and both can make calls, however only one rings when the ext is called and if one handsets is in use then the other shows a busy tone.

My gut feeling is this is exactly what would be expected but given the 52P's allowed this to function, wanted to check I wasn't missing something obvious.

Thanks in advance,

Unknown whether this is possible with W80 / W90 series DECT. Speak with Yealink directly or check their documentation to see if they have a way of doing it.

Thanks John, I've dug a little further into the older W56P setup and it seems there is a number assignment option which the new GUI doesn't have (or is available elsewhere perhaps).

I'll try Yealink direct, thanks.
