Hello together,

we recently installed a new phone system for our customer as followed:

3CX Version: Standard 18.0 Update 5
Hosted by 3CX
Provisioning: via FXS/DECT
Phones: DECT Yealink W70B with 2x Yealink W56H
Firmware Version: 146.85.0.25
Trunk Provider: Sipgate
Firewall Check passed: YES

Yealink web interface Handhelds:

We installed and provisioned everything around two weeks ago and it worked perfectly. Since a week one of those Handheld Phones (W56H) doesn't receive any incoming calls anymore (it doesn't ring at all), but you can do outgoing calls without any problems. The second phone works perfectly for incoming/outgoing calls.

We haven't installed any updated/patches or did any changed at all, which could result in such an issue. I usually work with Snom IP-Phones, so this is actually my first time installing and/or using DECT Phones.

I have thought, there were some Firewall/Port issues, but as far as i can see, everything seems fine. I also provisioned the phone again, but that doesn't help for some reason.

It would be greatly appreciated, if you guys would have some other ideas or thoughts on this.

Thanks as always,

Best

Marcus

Hi Marcus,

Are you using STUN or SBC for provisioning?

Hi Marcus,

Hey John,

we're using our SBC:

Let me know if you need some additional Infos

Ok

1. Upgrade to the firmware you see here for the base:
https://www.yealink.com/en/solution-detail/resource-for-3cx

2. You can choose which line to receive calls from and which line to make calls from via the handset menus. If someone changed the settings from there, it could lead to the problem you described.

Normally it should appear like so. If it doesn't then somebody changed it:

Hey John,

so i updated the firmware from version 146.85.0.25 to 146.85.0.30, restartet the phone system and phones and it works now.

Our settings are set as seen above in your screenshots, so i guess it must have been the "old" firmware version.

Thank you for your help and input with this issue.

Best,

Marcus
