Hi,

Was wondering if anyone is using a Yealink T28 Phone with the Yealink Wireless Headset Adapter (EHS36). In theory, this is for our receptionist to place and receive calls wirelessly away from the desk. We have the wireless Plantronics CS540.

Connection Config, testing from my T26:
/Power/---[YealinkT26 Phone Ext Port]---RJ12---{EHS36}--3.5mmDC---[Plantronics Base]---/Power/

Willing to try options. I also have the RJ45 cord provided, however this cord seems to be needed for the Netcom/Jaba wireless headsets.

Thanks for the help!

Yes the EHS36 is supported on both the T28 and the T26 from Yealink. The Plantronics CS series headsets have been tested to work with the EHS36 also.

Which firmware version do the Yealinks have?

Forgot to point out specifically that we have the needed hardware, its just not working :D .

The T26 firmware is 60.50.0.50 and the T28 firmware (where this will be permanent) is 2.50.0.50

Update: There is an audible "click" sound coming from the Yealink wireless adapter - so something is detecting here.

That T28 firmware is too old. Update to 2.60.x.x or preferably 2.61.0.80 . I had to update some T28's to get the EHS to work.
