You cannot send chat messages to this user

I am puzzled by the 3cx myphone warning that says "You cannot send chat messages to this user" each time I try to send a message to one particular user on ext 10. However, ext 10 can send outgoing chat message from with 3cx myphone but whenever anyone reply's they get a message, "You cannot send chat messages to this user" and the message is not delivered to ext 10. It is like it works only one way. Other ext can send messages to other ext but not to ext 10.

Any help appreciated as we do like this function.

Have you checked to assure chat is enabled on their myphone client? bottom right hand corner a blue quotation mark..
