3CX Scales up Communications for Infoplus Public Procurement
Infoplus was in a dilemma. Their outdated phone system was failing them, and stopping them short of expanding their business. With a little help from Platinum Partner Infoset, they managed to turn all that around and are now reaping the benefits of 3CX’s modern software solution.
The Challenge
After experiencing steady growth, Infoplus was no longer able to work and communicate efficiently with their outdated phone system. It presented numerous issues with audio, and they needed a scalable business communications solution that would allow them to more easily expand and add new extensions at their own convenience. What’s more, with employees and collaborators located throughout the territory, and with 2 service centers, Infoplus needed a more modern solution that could connect remote workers and branches, as well as integrate with the various other platforms that the company was using.
Infoplus’ IT Systems Manager, Matteo Santini, was tasked with finding an alternative solution that would boost the company’s business performance as well as address ongoing management and technical issues. After evaluating various systems, it became clear that 3CX was the best solution for the job.
3CX Offers a Solution
It became clear to Matteo that 3CX could provide a strong solution that would address Infoplus’ needs. Not only is 3CX a modern software system that could solve their technical issues, its pricing is based on simultaneous calls, meaning that Infoplus could be scaling the solution and it would be easier and more cost-effective.
Infoplus consulted 3CX Platinum Partner Infoset, who was able to deploy the organization’s new communications system without any disruption. Infoset did this by migrating the old system department by department, without interrupting service. It was decided that an on-premise Linux installation would best suit the company needs, and to the delight of Infoplus, they were able to install 3CX using existing infrastructure.
They created over 200 extensions and implemented 20 SIP trunks to carry everyday demand of the system. With a 64SC Enterprise license, they now have access to advanced contact center features including call queues, reports and more. They are also able to utilize 3CX’s inbuilt failover and standby license for greater peace of mind. Most importantly for Infoplus, Infoset seamlessly integrated the company's software and platforms.

“The new 3CX system gave us clear audio during telephone calls, whether internal within our sites or outside the office using the smartphone apps. This has enabled us to facilitate smart-working with our employees. Additionally, 3CX is incredibly user-friendly and there is a remarkable ease of access to the various queues and contact center features. Logs are thorough and complete, which allows us to analyze everything quickly and easily. A big bonus for us was the considerable ease of integration with company software, and freedom in the choice of hardware and VoIP service providers. We’ve also found it much easier to find and resolve errors.”

Simple integration has been performed for enhanced synchronicity and efficiency between software systems, and bad audio quality is a thing of the past thanks to 3CX’s powerful core infrastructure and use of the latest technologies.
