Introduction
CSV files from 3CX Reports, whether sent to you by email on a schedule or downloaded manually, can be opened easily with spreadsheet apps like Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
In these apps, you can look at the data in more detail and create different graphs, depending on what your business needs.
You can also use AI tools like Gemini or Copilot to help you understand the data, do calculations, and make graphs.
Google Sheets
Export from 3CX, Import to Google Sheets
In the Web Client Admin Console, navigate to Reports and select the report you are interested in. Select the filters you need and click on Search. Once you have the data needed for your report, click on Export CSV.
Open Google Sheets and click on Import > Upload and select the CSV file you exported above. When you get the next scheduled report email, you can import it directly into your Excel.
Remember to select "Append to current sheet."
Like this, your Excel workbook will generate the insights based on all the data!
Once the file is uploaded, click on Import Data. This will read the CSV and create a table of the imported data.
Creating Graphs
You can now select the columns you’re interested in and create graphs based on that data. Just select the relevant columns, then click on Insert > Chart your graph will be created automatically.
On the right side the Chart Editor will appear, where you can change settings like the chart type and other options.
Below, you’ll find some examples of different graphs made using exported CSVs from 3CX Reports, along with the columns used to create them.

If available, you can also ask Gemini to analyze the imported data and create graphs for you.
Once you’ve imported the report CSV, just click the Ask Gemini button in the top right corner, as shown below.
You can also ask Gemini to make calculations and create graphs for you.
Microsoft Excel
Export from 3CX, Import to MS Excel
In the Web Client Admin Console, navigate to Reports and select the report you are interested in. Select the filters you need and click on Search. Once you have the data needed for your report, click on Export CSV.
Open MS Excel and click on File > Open Files From this Device and select the CSV file you exported above.
This will read the CSV and create a table of the imported data.
