PBX Event Logs (v18)

PBX Event logs in Management Console

The “Event log” records important system events for you to take note or action, including:

  • The emergency number is dialed (ID 4099).
  • SIP trunk status change(s) (ID 4100).
  • A trunk failover occurs, i.e. the backup rule is triggered (ID 12289).
  • A trunk or VoIP Provider account responds with an error code (ID 12294), e.g. if your account is inactive or reached the credit limit.
  • The license limit has been reached (ID 8193), i.e. consider upgrading your license if the 3CX license limit on concurrent call events occurs frequently.
  • IP blacklisted (ID 12290), i.e. an IP has reached the maximum number of failed authentication attempts, possibly due to a hacking attempt.
  • IP blacklisted due to too many requests (ID 12292), i.e. the anti-hacking module blocked an IP for too many requests.
  • A call-back request is triggered by the queue module (ID 102).
  • DNS resolution failure - (ID 12293), i.e. the remote VoIP provider could not be contacted, indicating that your internet connection is down or the specified VoIP Provider IP or FQDN is unreachable.
