3CX Interop Testing and Support Agreement
This Interop Testing and Support Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between 3CX and “VoIP Provider”, together referred to as the “Parties”.
1. Purpose
The purpose of this Agreement is to ensure that the VoIP Provider’s services remain compatible with 3CX products and that customers can easily configure and use the VoIP Provider’s SIP trunking services with 3CX.
2. 3CX VoIP Provider Template
In return for the VoIP Provider’s testing and support commitments under this Agreement, 3CX will include the VoIP Provider configuration template within the 3CX product, allowing customers to easily configure the VoIP Provider’s services.
The template may include relevant configuration settings such as SIP server details, registration method, authentication requirements, supported codecs, transport options, number formatting, inbound and outbound call settings, and other interoperability-related parameters.
It is the responsibility of the VoIP provider to test, document and maintain this template and to support the customer in its configuration
3CX may update, modify, suspend, or remove the template if the VoIP Provider fails to comply with this Agreement, if interoperability issues remain unresolved, or if the provider’s service no longer meets 3CX’s technical or support requirements.
3. Interoperability Testing Commitment
The VoIP Provider agrees to run the official 3CX VoIP Provider Interoperability Test, as included in the 3CX product or otherwise made available by 3CX, for each relevant:
- 3CX beta release;
- 3CX major update;
- At special request when 3CX updates core components which may affect SIP trunking, call routing, registration, authentication, media handling, security, or related interoperability functionality.
The VoIP Provider shall complete such testing in a timely manner and submit the test results to 3CX as outlined in clause 4 below.
4. Submission of Test Results
The VoIP Provider agrees to submit interoperability test results through the designated 3CX web form.
5. Issue Reporting and Cooperation
If interoperability issues are identified during testing or after release, the VoIP Provider agrees to cooperate with 3CX in good faith to investigate and resolve such issues. This may include, where reasonably required:
- providing technical contact points;
- sharing logs, traces, configuration details, and test results;
- assisting with replication of reported issues;
- confirming when an issue has been resolved;
- updating any required VoIP Provider-side configuration, platform settings, or documentation.
3CX will provide reasonable information and access to the relevant testing tools or beta releases where appropriate.
6. Customer Support Commitment
The VoIP Provider agrees to provide appropriate support to its customers and to 3CX customers using the VoIP Provider’s services with 3CX.
This includes support for interoperability-related matters such as registration, inbound and outbound calling, caller ID, DIDs, codecs, TLS/SRTP, call transfers, fax, emergency calling where applicable, and other SIP trunking-related issues.
The VoIP Provider shall not refer customers back to 3CX without first making reasonable efforts to verify whether the issue relates to the VoIP Provider’s network, configuration, account settings, SIP trunk service, or supported interoperability configuration.
7. Approved Configuration
The VoIP Provider agrees to maintain and support a tested and approved configuration for use with 3CX.
Any material changes to the VoIP Provider’s SIP platform, network, authentication method, supported codecs, SBC or media handling, IP ranges, security requirements, or provisioning process should be communicated to 3CX in advance where reasonably possible.
Where such changes may affect interoperability with 3CX, the VoIP Provider agrees to re-run the 3CX interoperability test and submit updated test results.
8. Status as Supported VoIP Provider
Continued listing of the VoIP Provider template in the 3CX product may be subject to the VoIP Provider’s ongoing compliance with this Agreement.
3CX reserves the right to amend, suspend, or remove the template if the VoIP Provider fails to complete required testing, fails to resolve material interoperability issues, or does not provide adequate customer support.
9. No Guarantee
Successful completion of interoperability testing does not constitute a guarantee that all customer environments, configurations, or use cases will operate without issue.
Each Party remains responsible for its own systems, services, and support obligations.
10. Term
This Agreement shall remain in effect until terminated by either Party with written notice.
Any obligations relating to ongoing customer support for existing customers should continue for a reasonable transition period following termination.
