How to Make a Blind and Attended Transfer Using Yealink T46U
In this example we will demonstrate how to perform a blind and attended (consultative) transfer using a Yealink T46U.
Note: A blind transfer sends the call to another destination immediately without speaking to that person.
An attended transfer puts the caller on hold while you consult with the person you're transferring to. If they agree to take the call, you complete the transfer and connect them.
Blind Transfer Method
- During a call, press “Transfer”
- Dial your destination, then press “B Transfer”.
- The call is now transferred to the specified destination.
Attended Transfer Method
- During a call, press “Transfer”
- Dial your destination, then press “OK” to call them.
- Once the recipient answers and accepts the call, press “Transfer” again.
- The call is now transferred to the specified destination.
Note: If the recipient is unavailable to take the call, your original caller will stay on hold. Once you’ve disconnected from the second call, press “Resume” to return to your caller.
