Hi Team

We've been implementing lots of voice agents which has been great.
The main question we get is can we have a more natural and localised voice.

ElevenLabs offers this via API
https://elevenlabs.io/api

Is this something which could be considered as a provider in a future release?

Best,
Lance

I'm here for the answers, we've been testing with this via trunking to elevenlabs which kinda works. But you loose transcription data in the 3CX environment.

We have no plans to support AssembleyAI or Elevenlabs at this point. Of course we are continuously scanning the market.

However we support Grok Agent support will be added in addition to OpenAI which is in our view at least as good and much cheaper than Elevenlabs or AssembleyAI.

Thanks @N_G :)

The $ for some customers isn't as much of a concern as having the localised voice.
The OpenAI voices currently aren't very "natural" which seems to be the common feedback.

I'll take a look at Grok to see how that looks too :)

To be clear @N_G I was referring to the voice agent not the transcription engines with ElevenLabs and Assembly too :)

The transcription with OpenAI and Grok is pretty good :)

Yes I was referring to the voice agent too, we are developing support for the Grok voice agent, maybe my post was not clear. Its something for update 10. Grok is good and also much cheaper than openAI so a good alternative.

Awesome! Can't wait to see it @N_G
