Hi There,
3CX Hosted 20.0update8. I have a Yealink T54W on wired LAN (firmware 96.86.0.70) that works fine as a regular phone but if I try to provision it as a router phone neither it's SBC nor its user account registers in 3CX. It does factory reboot then identifies as a 3CX phone and it's web console has the new password that's in 3CX's User...IP Phone...Web Console Password whereon the phone's web console account status shows "Register failed". So It's talking to the right 3CX instance.

On the same LAN I have another phone and another SBC operating normally, this is an additional phone.

Not sure what to try next, insights appreciated, thanks.

Thanks for the response. 3CX console isn't offering the update so I hadn't looked.

It won't update to 96.87.0.22: "Invalid ROM" when I try to do it manually. There's a slightly older 96.87.0.15 version at Yealink.com but it too returns "Invalid ROM"

So I just pulled out a T46U, and it's up to date at 108.87.0.22. I can provision it as a regular phone like the T54W but when I try to provision it as a router phone it won't register -- exactly the same problem.

Well old firmware can fail to connect and can trigger an IP block.

Some Yealink firmware is too old and needs an intermediate firmware…if you can’t find it I can look at work tomorrow.
