Can't make outbound calls through Telxi SIP Trunk

Hi, I've been struggling the last couple of days with C3X setup.
Everything looks ok (green ticks everywhere), but I still can't make outbound calls. However, inbound calls are working fine.
When I try to call a mobile phone, I get a voice saying "This account is blocked". When I try to use the Outbound Call Test from SIP Trunk Checker, I get this error "No registration found" (even if SIP Trunk is fully set up, registered and working). By the way, Incoming calls test works perfectly.
Telxi support said this:
"If the calls are not visible in our portal this means that they didn't leave your 3CX server, can you please investigate again the configuration and make sure that the Outbound CallerID fields are populated with [phone number] in both places, extension and trunk level." I think I got this right.
On the other hand, the only configuration I might be getting wrong is in the SIP Trunk options, the fields in the "Caller ID Control" menu:
Default Outbound Caller ID
From : Display Name > "OutboundCallerId" Outbound caller Id taken from Extension settings in management console
Remote Party ID - Calling Party : Display Name > Default
P-Asserted Identity : Display Name > Default
Any ideas? Thank you!

Hi @salasia

As a first step, I would recommend checking the 3CX Activity Log with the logging level set to Verbose. Then place a test outbound call and review the SIP response code returned by the carrier. The most relevant codes to look for are:
  • 403 Forbidden
  • 401 Unauthorized
  • 404 Not Found
  • 484 Address Incomplete
  • 603 Declined
The SIP response code will help identify where the call is being rejected. Could you please provide the SIP response code from the log?

Additionally, please verify that the Outbound Caller ID is correctly configured both at the extension level (Users → Extension → General) and at the SIP trunk level (SIP Trunks → Telxi → Options). In both cases, the Caller ID should be a DID that belongs to your Telxi account, using the format expected by the provider (for example, +1XXXXXXXXXX or XXXXXXXXXX).

It would also be very helpful to perform a SIP call capture (PCAP) of a failed outbound call. This will allow us to analyze the SIP signaling and determine exactly how the call is being processed and where it is being rejected.

Thank you for your reply.
Apparently, calls aren't even detected/logged by SIP provider. Maybe they aren't even leaving 3CX servers?
On the other hand, 3CX log displays this error message:
Warning
Event ID 30052
Date06/10/2026 4:08 PM
DetailsThere was no user or outbound rule found for the number 625028### that Ext.20### dialed.

That's why I initially thought it was a missing rule or rule configuration, but the only rule we have is a catch-all rule and it includes all numbers.
Caller ID is always the same, all fields are filled in.
I don't know how to perform a "a SIP call capture", sorry.
Kind regards.

If the call never matches an outbound rule, it will never be sent to Telxi, which is why they don't see any call attempts on their side.

Even if you only have a catch-all outbound rule, I would double-check:
  • Whether the dialed number format matches the rule (for example, if the provider expects numbers in E.164 format with 1 or +1).
  • The order of outbound rules.
  • That Ext.20### is allowed to use the outbound rule.
I would focus on outbound rule matching before investigating the SIP trunk configuration itself, as the 30052 error indicates that 3CX is not finding a valid route for the number being dialed.

Hi, I've just hung up with Telxi support, we checked everything on 3CX and all looks good. We even downloaded Zoiper, it took 2 minutes to set it up and we managed to make a call on the 1st try. So I'm wondering, is it even possible to make outbound calls with 3CX without a paid subscription?? Thanks in advance!
