Is the Extension Count a HARD CAP or suggested limit?

For now, it's enforced at the support level only.

It will be a hardcap soon (no precise date announced yet). Upgrade to be compliant to prevent issues in the long term.

Please note that the maximum Extension Count is part of the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) and is not merely a recommendation.

Each license tier has a maximum supported number of users/extensions. Systems exceeding this limit are considered non-compliant with the FUP and are not eligible for technical support, as mentioned by @Evolute IT.
