Allow outgoing number list

Hi everyone, I have a 3CX Cloud customer who requires this feature. A list of extensions should be able to contact a list of numbers. Is it possible to populate a list, or do I have to create an outbound rule for each phone number?

You can just create one outbound rule and use a comma for additional numbers in the prefix

The list of numbers is limited however I have divided the list into 3 rules

This can only be limited with the outbound rules where you can add specific extensions to the allowed list.
If those extensions are also part of specific Departments you may also add only Departments.

Hi, yes, I'm not referring to the 3CX SBC or Router Phones. I'm talking about a real Session Border Controller (SBC) for SIP routing.

You can configure an SBC as a SIP trunk and route your calls through it. The SBC allows you to control, route, reroute, or even modify outgoing (also incoming) calls before they reach the provider (or pbx). In a way, it lets you act like your own SIP provider.

SBCs are usually quite complex to configure, but in many scenarios they are the only practical solution if you need full control over outgoing call routing.

Hi, no. I'm referring to a separate product that you would need to deploy in front of your 3CX. Take a look online at solutions like Anyode or AudioCodes to see whether running an SBC in front of your 3CX is a viable option for your environment. You can then route all outgoing calls through the SBC and apply your routing logic there.

That said, your question gave me another idea: some IP phones support their own local outbound dialing rules. It's not the most elegant solution and can be cumbersome to configure and maintain, but depending on your use case, it might work. Personally, I would still recommend using an SBC if you need this kind of control.

The features of your 3cx doesnt change. So yes, you can record calls like before.

Currently, if I use 3CX SBC Debian, I can only route traffic from DECT landlines, etc., etc., not from applications. I'm not sure if you've read all the posts... The SBC is integrated as a trunk, so all calls go through it, regardless of where they originate.

Wait a minute. I currently have a Debian 3CX SBC and only the landlines go through the SBC. The PC and Mac applications and smartphones register directly on the 3CX switchboard.
