By default when leaving a voice message for an extension, it seems we have to press the # key for options and then choose to save the message. Is there a way to disable this requirement so that after the beep, a person can just record their message and hangup?

I've created a ring group which consists of 8 extensions. The phone I am using is a CISCO 7940. When one person answers the call, the remaining phone shows that call as a missed call. Any ideas how I can avoid this?

I think I know why it's not working, I think the Patton device i've got doesnt actually have FXO ports, I think the 4 ports are FXS. I checked it against a document on the patton website and it says 4 FXS ports. It's the SN4114/JS/EUI model. Does that mean the device is useless for what I want...

IP address does match, it was auto generated config file through the wizard. The only place I can edit the IP address of the gateway is in the section PSTN gateways. Not in the ports/trunks section.

I checked the Port/Trunks section in 3CX and the Patton gateway shows up a registered(idle) But when I make a call using the outbound route i just keep getting a line busy tone. There are 4 ports on the patton, do I nee to specify which port I am using?
