16.0.655: after dialling, one "ring" then silence until called party picks off the phone?

I now have this behaviour at two system. It most ikely started after the last upgrade.

Is this a known Problem - or what can be done?

If this is for external calls specifically, and with which provider?

Different providers. When I had this first, It was to a 3CX (new installation) using Sipgate.de. I tried immediatel again using my mobile, this was ok, a new call from 3cx silence again.
Today I several calls with no problem but now to a mobile from vodafone where call divert to mailbox was active - silence, 5 min later same number this time no call divert worked.

Ok the first thing to do will be to see if this is on the PBX or the provider side.

Depending on which provider you user, they may tell the PBX to play the progress tone, or they may send the progress tone themselves as audio.

In both these methods, if we run a capture and make a call we should see what the provider sends and whether the issue is on the PBX or the provider.
