Hello everybody,

Recently I came up to an issue, that I can't figure out how to solve.

I have an on-premises appliance of 3cx. Untill now I was able to have two sip trunks from same provider(Cosmote GR).

But for a week now, one of those two doesn't come up. After some communication with Cosmote, they told me that each SIP line (number) in order to register, needs to use the internet line that is attached to. So in order to have two different numbers that are attached to different internet lines, is there a way I can achieve that? I can set up a vpn to the second line that has the SIP attached to it, but then how can I configure the server to use that connection only for that SIP Trunk ?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Please explain your network in more detail

Doed the location where the 3cx server has one or two internet connections.

Where does the VPN come in ?

Are the SIP trunks IP or username / password authenticated.

Hi @mikelpapamike

So why was it working up to now and now it does not? You can add a second NIC on your server and attach the second line there and use static routes in your OS to route all traffic through the specific NIC. The NIC should not have a default gateway and should only be used for that trunk.
Also in your trunk settings / Options you will need to add the local IP of that NIC in the "Select which IP to use in 'Contact' (SIP) and 'Connection'(SDP) fields" option.
