Hello,

We are using 2N intercoms where we have the intercom dial the 3CX extension, the user can see who's at the door and can use a DTMF code to open the door. When we test this using an Android phone, this works perfectly. The intercom sets up the call. The user accepts the call, then clicks the video button and can see who's at the door.

When we try this using an iPhone, after we push the video button, there is no video showing. The iPhone is running on the latest stable 3CX version, iOS 16.5. The Android phone is running the 3CX latest beta.

Starting a video call between the Android and iPhone does work.

The intercom is using H264 as a video codec. Going back to H263 doesn't solve the issue.

Where can we start to troubleshoot this?

iOS client only supports VP8 and VP9, so is expected to don't work.
What are the Android and iOS client versions (as in their menu/settings/about)?

Yes, that sounds like a valid reason. Is it on the roadmap to support h264 on iOS or are you held back by iOS itself?

Android: 18.1.4.208
iOS: 18.6.3

Yes, both clients will have H264 support on next beta/release. But we're wondering how NOW, with the 18.1.4.204, you have video with the intercom? Sure is H264?

I believe it's H264. Haven't done a trace so I'm not sure. 2N settings indicate that the intercom only supports H264 and not VP8 or VP9.
