Do you mean the 40 day PRO trial? If yes then once "expired" after (40 days) it will remain for 3 years on the SC it currently is. So if you have a 24SC STD, it will remain like that for 3 years. (at least that's what I understood from what I've read)

I don't see anything about 24 users. My understanding it's simply an extension of the previous free offering. The original offering was 16SC Pro for a 40 day trial which then converted to 16SC STD for the remainder of the 1st year. In year 2 and beyond (or until 3CX changes their mind) it would be 8SC free. I assume it's at a minimum guaranteeing 3 years free (8SC for year 2 and 3) which was not previously guaranteed but I'm sure it's explained in the email when you fill out the form.

Well it does make more sense but as you noted, it's not specifically mentioned anywhere on the page. But I can't imagine 3CX giving away 24SC licenses otherwise this pandemic would be followed by a partner riot!

I refill the form and i received mail noticed;

Start using PRO free for 40 days and then get the Standard Edition free for 3 years!

I am sure now, standard edition free 3 year with unlimited SC

The actual form says nothing about license size, just has the normal fields for # of extensions which only goes to 100+ and is the same form pre-covid. Filling out the form sends me an email with no mention of license size, just the free edition which has traditionally been what I mentioned above. And after installing you can see this:



So common sense prevails. 3CX is not giving away the house.

My guess is it's 3 years locked at 16SC. Then it falls back to 8SC lifetime. As any free license.

Still, it seems to have a trial for the Pro.

I have the 8SC free Standard. I tried to fill out the form and it sent me my same license key. in the License key details I was able to change to 16SC and hit save. We normally don't go over 8SC but could really use 16SC during this time.

However it still shows standard with an expire date this year.

@bumblebeey Just to be clear, all 3cx systems regardless of SC are "unlimited users" as you can have as many extension as you want on the system

I was able to upgrade to 16SC However my licenses expire in June and it does not show the pro trial. This at least works for us for now. But I would like to better understand the offer we love 3cx but are a non-profit and funds are limited.. especially now.

I resubmitted my info but never received a reply after 24 hours.

Our trial period end yesterday. SC still unlimited ( i can set 1024 at customer page ). but license end date is 2021, not given 3 year, extend only one year. i think license must be activate during campaing date.
