3CX Activation server unreachable

Hi,

I am trying to install 3cx on my contabo VPS but the server can not reach the activation server. I did try to change the dns to 8.8.8.8 but that didn't work.

What else can I try?

I saw that post, but I also saw this one.

he fixed it by installing some packages..

If you are installing packages that is an unsupported install. 3CX is only supported via PBXExpress or via ISO image.

I think he means his hosting company installed some additional packages on his VPS. Thread can be closed I presume

Also, how was this 3CX instance deployed, was it using the 3CX ISO?
