Solved 3CX and Active Directory integration / sync users problem

Hello
I have 3CX Windows server which is in a domain group. When i try to import users using AD import button its not doing anything.. no import, no errors... how can i debug the problem?

i can properly query AD using a small windows tool at 3CX server..


any help?

Dear route,

This procedure does not import the whole database. It does import only the information of the current call asynchronously . When a call comes in, the pbx search the synchronized LDAP directory and use the contact information from there. But you will not see the information on the phone at the first call as the search is taking place. You will see the information on the second call when the contact information is imported and so on.

Please Check this document http://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/import-active-directory/.
I will suggest you to change Authentication type to Negotiate as from the screenshot i can see that you use anonymous.
If this doesn't work for you enable logging to verbose and check Management Console and System Service Log from
%programdata%\3CX\Instance1\Data\Logs
