3CX and Cisco SPA112

Hi All,

Has anyone had any experience setting up the Cisco SPA112 phone adapter.

I have been trying to use the quick config wizard and it is locking the IP of the SPA out after too many failed authentication attempts.

So far i have enabled the SPA, created an extension in 3CX and added the EXT number and i have tried both the web client password and the authentication password, but the SPA still will not register with 3CX.

Any idea anyone?

Really nothing special in configuration of SPA112.

You need to set extension ID, authentication ID, authentication password, set use authentication ID and 3CX PBX address as proxy server. All other settings may be left default.

Perfect! I found another thread a couple of minutes before you posted. I was missing the AuthID.

Also if you want to use it for faxing, make sure to enable T38, by default it is set to off.
