Hi folks -- I am trying to understand what the options are for vTiger integration.

I have setup the server side integration....
https://www.3cx.com/docs/vtiger-crm-pbx-integration-server-side/

So is the scope of the integration this server side + browser extension for outbound?

There is also "PBXManager" module and config inside vTiger but it talks about Asterisk. Do the above provide an alternative to this or do I also need to configure this module?

CONFIGURATION SETTING SCREEN (4 fields for vTiger Asterisk App URL, Outbound Context, Outbound Trunk and then vTiger Secret Key that it provides)

It then says "Configure your Asterisk App URL in the format: (protocol)://(asterisk_ip):(VtigerConnector_port) : ex:http://0.0.0.0:5000"

Online videos show some pretty deep integration of call logs and recordings that are available under these PBXManager tabs for the user. At least that's my take on it so for. Is this correct and is 3CX compatible and/or does this server side integration also allow attached recordings?

If anyone can help me get my head around this I'd appreciate it.

3CX doesn't integrate this way. You only need to configure the server side settings as explained in the 3CX guide.
