Already tested it just a few moment ago. It's awesome.

A few remarks which could make it even better:

• Team tab is usefull, having an option to show your favorites would be a big plus
• When in a call an a IVR menu is present, you don't have the option to enter a number.
  • a lot of the calls which require more time, happen during car rides. However every call with IVR can't be made right now.
    • Test this with the native dialer in android auto and dialpad is present during a call
• Putting a call on hold for a moment would also be usefull

In Team section, we should the list according to what you have selected in the filter on your phone. The search button allows you to search everywhere in your Team contacts.

Unfortunately, due to limitations imposed by Google, we are not allowed to show any dialer buttons, be it for calling numbers, as well as dialing in dtmf. Perhaps this will change in the future. We will keep a lookout.

Holding functionality is available from the ongoing call screen itself, as well as mute and change audio source (headset or load speaker). All of this is provided to us by Android OS via Telecom API.

Nice I'll test again, it's kind of confusing you first need to select a filter on your phone to then see it in android auto. But if this is known, then it's creating the habbit to change the filter before getting in the car

@ArneDery unfortunately Auto does not offer filter changing within the UI itself.
SInce our app saves the last location filter of Team page, we expose the same list in Android Auto.

So one can easily always keep the favourites filter set for their app. Note although that Android auto limits the number of items we can list, each car can have a different number of list items allowed. This is where Search button comes into play

Just tested it on my vehicle and when I dialled an extension the call controls did not display on the head unit, I had to end the call from the phone itself.

You should specify car please and build and also a photo will help.

And specify phone being used

On my BMW X1 2025 with Pixel 8 all is working.

@PhilSteel please mention car and phone brands.

Also confirm that Car/Bluetooth support (Telecom API) is enabled.

Click on the hamburger button (top left corner) > Settings > Advanced and make sure Car/Bluetooth support (Telecom API) is enabled.

If for some reason this is disabled or your phone does not support Telecom API, then the incall view will not be shown

Some extra testing I did:

Peugeot 3008
Oneplus 10 Pro 5G

• Selecting a department or team in the app, changes the view in the team tab in android auto (Thanks for the tip @ThomB_3CX)

Some things worth mentioning:

• When opening 3CX in android auto the team tab or the contact shows no results, after about 30 seconden they suddenly show.
  • When you switch tabs, no data is shown directly, clicking on the search and straigth back with cancel, the list is populated. This is the same for teams tab and the contacts tab.

Ford Puma with OnePlus 8. Just checked and Telecom API was turned off. Switched it on and all working fine now.
