Are you saying when you receive push notification it opens up the Messages section of the 3CX app but it doesn't open up the specific conversation? That doesn't really sound like a failure to me. I was expecting you to say you weren't receiving push notifications at all. I'm not an app developer but my understanding of push notifications is such:
App can sleep to reduce resource consumption.
Android OS receives a push notification to wake the app in question
App wakes up and then phones home/checks in to see why it was woken up
Sounds like everything is working as expected. The push notification can't tell the App what to look for specifically, just to wake up. If the app is running in the foreground and you receive a group chat will it pop up directly to that group chat message or does it perform the same behavior of just going to the message section?
Please provider an example of the issue we are facing so we try to better understand what is going on. Also i would be helpful to mention what PBX version you are running and the Android client version.
We use the latest version (16.0.1581).
You can reproduce it.
Open a group chat with A + B.
Write a message in the group chat "hello". If A responds, the notification opens. If you click on the notification, the original group chat will NOT be opened, but a new chat with A.
Sorry, I wasn't clear: clients should also been the latest (they are not yet released. iOS one will be available these days) That's why I said "we'll let you know"
