3CX App freezes when scanning QR code on iPhone 15

Hi everyone,
we are facing an issue with the 3CX app on iPhones.

Devices / Versions:

• iPhone 15 & iPhone 15 Pro (iOS 26.4.2)
• 3CX App Version 5.5 (Build 148) – 20.0.20.148
• iPhone 16 (iOS 26.4.1)

Problem:
When scanning the QR code to set up the 3CX app on iPhone 15 devices, the app freezes. If we try again, the same thing happens every time.

Interestingly, the exact same QR code works perfectly on the iPhone 16.
Also, on Android devices the QR code setup works without any issues.

Has anyone experienced the same effect and can confirm this issue?

Different device, different network condition.
On your iPhone 15, try to scan the QR code with ***device*** camera and see if you can open it in Safari.

Thank you very much, it works for me now. I scanned the QR code with the device’s camera, then the configuration file was downloaded. After that, I tried the 3CX app again and now everything works.
