3CX Backups And Vultr Object Storage Question

Hello 3CX fellows,

Has anyone experienced with setting up the Vultr Object Storage as an external cloud location for 3CX daily backups? Considering the one is S3-powered, I can mount the S3 busket as a local folder, but failed to save a backup archive properly. The server accepts the location as well as reports the backup task succeded. However, the backup file appears to be zero sized.

Still trying to find a way to fix this.

Hi Leo,

The only bucket solution we natively support currently is Google, but you can use either local drives or block-level write access drives like SAN / iSCSI.

File-level access is not supported (writes are not confirmed, you risk data loss).

So if your solution is not mounted as block-level, I'd expect it to fail.
