Hi,

When we are trying call make a call via 3cx, getting the message that Call failed, Busy. Not all numbers. Only some. And some of the numbers are definitely not busy. Please find the attached screenshot.

Please help to know what is causing.

Thank you.

Hi,

Here are the details,
======
OS VERSION : Linux readyspace 4.9.0-9-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.168-1+deb9u5 (2019-08-11) x86_643CX version : 16.0.910
======

Also, could you please let us know how to check if our outbound rules and security settings of our PBX allow calls to the specific destinations?

Thank you.

Hi Sean, are you dialing internal numbers or external? if internal no need to search about outbound rules as there's no restrictions for internal calls. outbound is only for external calls.

So when you dial a number, the system runs some checks to see if the destination is allowed.

It needs to match the dialled number (in whatever format the user sent it) against one of the outbound rules you have.

As a first step, you can set your logs to verbose and look through the logs after a failed call.

Please note that your trunk also has restrictions, ie. if your provider allows you to have 2 simultaneous calls, and you try to make a 3rd one, you will probably get a busy signal. Anyway, the logs should give you a starting point to see what the problem is.
