3CX Cloud Speech-to-Text API - Client Confidentiality.

Hello,

Looking for advice or hopefully links to helpful web pages on this.

We have turned on the 3CX Cloud Speech-to-text API for voicemails. However my manager is a little paranoid about google listening to our messages as clients give their names and company details at the start of any message. I am not familiar with the use of API's so am not sure if any data is actually sent to Google directly for the transcription so:

Can anyone advise if Google do get any details of the calls transcribed?

Can anyone advise if Google have any documentation or statements about how they keep any data they collect confidential?

Hi Tony,

This is something you need to look up in Google rather than 3CX since this is a 3rd party service that you give the right to your PBX to access. I advise that you start from there since they are ultimately the source that can answer that question.
