Dear Community

I use the 3CX Appliance together with a Snom M700 and 4 M65 handsets. My problem is that after a reboot of the appliance the M65 handsets cannot register anymore to the 3CX. The message is: SIP Error@RPN00: No SIP Reg

The M700 syslog shows:
loc3 .Info 2019-09-21T05:34:27Z 04-[ Registration of user 01 (ExtIdx#0000) on domain 192.168.x.x:5060 failed]

I only get the setup working again when I reconfigure the DECT station and the Extensions in 3CX and reprovision the whole system. But I doubt this is the intended behavior ;-).

It seems to me that the problem lies on the 3CX side, because a reboot of the M700 is no problem if the setup is working. Only after rebooting the 3CX the problem occurs.

Thank you for your help!

Best regards
Frederik

Just run Wireshark on your PBX system and if the snoms support it (Yealinks do) PCAP trace from the phone during the period of no registration.

You can compare the 2 traces and see who is sending a response and which end is either ignoring or sending back an error code, use this as a guide if you are not too familiar with SIP signalling: https://www.voipmechanic.com/sip-call-example.htm

Please advise what appliance you are using also ?
