Ok I have to Linux servers I want to enable fail-over, but cant assign the license to both servers. Any Help?

@Mark Jones

You require an enterprise license in order to enable fail-over (activate an active server and a backup server using the same license key and fqdn).

It's an active/passive fail-over meaning that one fails, the other will kick in within a few minutes (usually), but when the main comes back up, you have to manually "fail" the backup to switch it back over.

I understand that, I have both servers created but its not allowing me to assign the same license, FQDn are the same.

it sees the license as already being activated

So if you have an enterprise license and you are getting that error you need to talk to sales or your partner. Lookup the 3CX contact info for your region.

If the server is already installed with a different licence it will not let you install the change the licence as the licence is already bound to an FQDN.
You need to apply the licence during installation.

The way to resolve this is simply restore from backup on your fail over server. You will need to make sure one of the servers has all services running, and the other one in standby mode.
