Hi

We are experiencing intermittent choppy calls on our hosted systems. Everything has been fine until 14th September about 5pm till about 8pm then fine on 15th September, but today we are stuggling again. Its on Internal extensions, external calls, bridged calls to our other systems on different internet connections etc. Theres been no changed in our configs or networks. Is there anyway to check the staus of the hosted systems internet connections?

Thanks

Chris

Us too. Clients SBC's are up and down and choppy / underwater call quality.

3cx - do you know whats going on please ?

All clients that have reported are 3cx hosted.

Thanks,
Adrian.

Hello,

There is a Network Connectivity issue at the Specific Datacenter of Digital Ocean in London and unfortunately it is affecting some droplets.
We are working actively with them in order to resolve the issue asap.
It seems it is affecting network connectivity inside UK,
Apologies for the inconvenience.

It would be nice if there was a system or someway 3CX could communicate this type information as you find out about it rather that customers trying to work out whats going on between themselves and informing their users.

We run our 3CX instances on OD (Amsterdam) same problem with SBC disconnecting and sound issues :(

@KjetilSorby for Amsterdam there are not any related issues so I would recommend to open a ticket with our Tech Support Team as this might be caused from something else and needs to be checked.

Same issues as u guys only seems to be phones behind SBCs for us got a couple of users to try using the mobile app and web app and they seemed to be able to work so worth a try if people are desperate i guess. But yes a hosted status page would be nice

@WhitebarnIT you are absolutely right on this as I was speaking with another partner when incident started and he setup 2 extensions on his UK PBX and sent me the welcome emails.
Tests on his PBX from our side ( 2extensions ) were more than fine.
When he called me from UK, I had no audio issues but he partially could hear cracking on the calls.
This was done in order to elimitate some factors also and give better feedback to the hosting provider so they can identify the issue faster.

My conclusion is the following :
Audio issues seem to be locally in UK connections from the DC but not to all.
I think depends on the ISP side also .
When 2 endpoints are out of UK, there is no audio issue.
When at least one endpoint is in UK and the other one in CY, there might be some crackling audio on the UK side.
On the other side ( outside of UK ) there is no issue at all.
So there must be an intermediate hop ( uplink ) which makes the damage here ( depending the route of the packets ) .

https://status.digitalocean.com/

You can find the same page for other providers 3CX uses like Vultr. 3CX could relay those notices but it would be faster to subscribe directly
