Solved 3CX Hosted Standard 8 Channel convert to 4 Channel

Greetings!

We just converted our Linode Instance to Hosted V.18 and done in 15 min!

We use the DNS from 3CX so all was smooth as pudding!

Question we have a Standard 8 Channel license, but we only have one phone number and a few handset's I use it for test environment and a production instance for my home office.

So I would like to downgrade from 8 channel standard to 4 channels.

What is the best way to do that?

PS. I do have another license code activated in my customer portal for which is a 4 channel.

So you can't swap licenses to a free license. You can try opening a support ticket to see if they will do it on the back end. If you don't care about the FQDN you can just spin up a new hosted instance with the 4SC and have 3CX shutdown the old one. You could try to play FQDN roulette and release it and see if you can get it back on the 4SC as well.
