Kindly advise.

Hi,

What do you mean by " he published his 3cx " ? Please explain in some more detail

Published 3cx on his firewall to allow soft phone on mobile can make calls inside network and out side network by using for example his 4G and actually his soft phone is working fine and also soft phones in windows desktop and web client is working fine but the problem in physical ip phone .

Oh I see, well in this case the internal phones will depend on being able to reach the 3CX server. Since you are in an environment with VLANs, things can get difficult.

You need to be in a position to monitor setup the VLANs correctly on the network elements, and also be prepared to run captures and see what what traffic is sent by each side, and if it reaches the NIC of the other side.

It's no simple task and if you are not familiar with this type of troubleshooting it may be easier to use a simple network subnet and keep the phones and PBX in the same range of each other.

Can you provide a network diagram and switch/firewall brands with configurations. Replace your public IPs or anything sensitive with your configuration. I would need to see this to verify you have general network connectivity. Also, an easy way to check where the problem is, would be to plug in a computer or phone to a location closest to the 3CX server, with the least amount of hops. This will at least rule out any 3CX issues and identify you have a network problem. You can work your way out from there until you get to the other side of your firewall. 3CX recommends that your phones are on the same vlan as the server. It can still work being on separate vlans and locations, VPNs, etc, but the network side as to be there.
