I hope someone can give me some ideas to fix this issue. We have 3cx 16 running with the latest version. System upgraded from 15.5 to 16 and everything was fine. I had some issues and reinstalled v16 and restored the backup. Issue turned out to be unrelated to 3CX.
I had provisioned 2 iPhones (a 7 and an 8) using the QR code. Provisioning worked fine and the 3cx iphone clients works fine. Post the upgrade I changed the extension on one of the phones and attempting to provision the phone from the outside the local LAN gives me the error: 'provisioning file cannot be reached.'
It works if the phone is connected to wifi and on the same subnet as 3cx server. The iPhone that did not need to be re-provisioned, the 3cx client continues to work normally. However if I am outside the LAN, it gives the same message if I try to reload the QR code.
I have split dns setup and so my FQDN resolves to to the local ip: 192.168.xx.xxx. Outside the LAN from the internet it resolves to my static internet IP. From the iPhones, I can connect to https://FQDN:5001 and I get the 3cx login prompt.
The provisioned iPhone continues to work normally but a new iPhone can only be provisioned via QR code if on wifi and connected to the same subnet as 3cx server. Any ideas?
