3cx key downgrade

Hi
I have a problem with rollback from 16.xx version to 15.5

I have end customer with payed maintenance and we have update our version to 16.xx version.

Because of problems with some functionality we had to perform rollback.
But there's come a problem. When i enter registration key it says that the key is not valid
for 15.5 version even if we purchased 3cx and key on particularly one.

Anyone had idea?

Once a key has been upgraded to 16, it won't work for 15 anymore (and new keys won't work for 15 either).

You may be able to reach out to support and have them downgrade it for you.

Are you referring to customer portal and opening the case?

Strange thing is that when i try that i see this message

So as an affliate I don't believe you get free support. As such, you'd have to pay for a ticket. But in this case you don't want support as they downgrade the key anyways (if anyone still can at all). You'll want to reach out via the contact info page for your area:

For sure free support access isn't for affiliate partners, but in same time "customers" can get 3CX for Free. Logical no?

The 15.5 key can be downgraded automatically from V16 if you go back to your old PBX within 30 days.
Otherwise use the Support link and pick the option that helps you with Key problems.

We would not recommend downgrading however, you lose features, security upgrades and new firmware and templates amongst other things.

If you want to share the issues you have we may be able to help making the transition to V16 smoother, as this will be the supported edition going forward.
