3CX Licensing Fee/Cost

Hi,

It says on the 3CX website that the PBX Express is free for 16 SC (you only pay AWS/Google for the server). Is this true or is it out of date information? And is the 3CX license free forever or only for 1 year and then you pay for updates?

I am asking because on the 3CX Buy page, it says only 4 SC is free? Is that license for something else?

With a brand new 'free' license you get 16SC for the 1st year and then it reverts to 4SC unless you pay maintenance.

So, if I use 4SC from the 2nd year onwards, is it completely free?

It is until it isn't. 3CX has changed the demo/free model many times over the years but as it currently stands it will be free.
