Hello all,

Our customer wants to have access to the PBX in order to make changes to how calls route on different days. I have checked the box to give them access as well as
(I put a bold "X" next to the options I have selected)
Extensions Management

Manage own extension
Manage extensions in groups you are part of
X Manage all extensions

System Management

Administer SIP Trunks
X General System Administration
Generate reports
Allow downloads of call recordings

Will this allow them to make the necessary changes? If not can someone please explain this option to me?

Thanks

Is there something preventing you from logging in with those credentials (or create a test extension for this purpose) and testing yourself? I assume you would want to document the steps for the customer so this will give you the ability to take screenshots as well.

Since you have provided the "Manage all extensions" and "General System Administration" permissions the user should now have access to modify any routing configuration so that would be sufficient. Do note though that General System Administration provides almost full access to the 3CX PBX Management Console so the user will also be able to modify components such as SIP Trunks, Call Queues, Extension Groups, etc.

Is there a video or documentation available that I can provide my customer with to assist in training them?

Embarrassingly enough, I was logging into their WebClient.

As long as it's all sorted :)
