So here's the situation:
After our office is closed, our phone system used to relay phone calls made to ring group 800 to three extensions, two of them being phones, and one of them being a nightringer (that rings through our paging speakers). We have a Cyberdata paging server, v3.1, and at one point in time the nightringer was all working, but the extension the nightringer was using was deleted and repurposed, so now I'm recreating it.
I have updated the Cyberdata device to use a new extension, x180, and use the authentication from that extension in the nightringer settings. I need to do the following:
Figure out how to add the nightringer phone to the extension, or what phone to use from the drop down. I tried the Cyberdata paging system, with the MAC of that system, but it's currently being used for our overhead paging system (extension 200 for this example). My question is, though the extension is created (180), what phone do I add to the extension, if any?
After I can get this, I will need to re-add the nightringer extension (x180) to the 800 ring group and test. I think it should all be working once this is complete.
