3CX on VMWare

Are there any special considerations running 3CX in a VMWare environment? I have a client hosting on VMWare and they seem to have a lot of issues with voice quality, dtmf issues, etc.

They have a lot of CPU/memory resources assigned. Should 3CX be on a dedicated network interface?

Should VMWare tools be install?

Just looking for clues.

They are running the latest updates.

Debian on 6.5

in VMware just ensure you install, as in any VM, the VMware Tools and use the VMnet3 NIC type after.

Not sure in which version of ESXi it was which needed a patch level to do not cause issues on e1000 network drivers. This resulted in vm/server crashes.
