Hello,

Installed my home 3CX system last month after use PBIF for several years. Its all running with skyetel just fine and I'm using the 3CXPhone for Windows v16.3.0.198. I can bring up the dialpad and make calls outbound, receive calls fine. I have added a couple of contacts to the contact list on my 3CX VM but they don't show in the 3CXPhone app. Neither do calls logs for calls that I
made from the app or that I have answered from the app. They are of course in the 3CX system under 'call log' as they should be.

How can I make contacts show up in the app along with call logs?

thank you

Does it work in the webclient? Mobile client?
Is port 5001 restricted / does firewall checker pass?

Yes, the webclient works normally, and the mobile client on android works normally. Port 5001 is open on the VM that is hosted locally. Mind you I only use my home phone with 3CX internally on my LAN so this is not used externally. I'm only experiencing this problem with the 3CX Phone for Windows v16.3.0.198.

Thanks

Hi @docjay

Adding a contact to the management console (under Advanced > Contacts) should immediately reflect in the Windows app when you click the "Contacts" icon.

If this is not happening, it may indicate an issue with the app communication and the PBX.

The PBX requires certain ports to be open in order to provide that data (and the call logs) to your app

https://www.3cx.com/docs/ports/

The most important ones for your windows client will be the HTTPS and Tunnel ports so this is the first thing I would look at.
