The last few weeks I've noticed days later, that the Database Server service has stopped. It does not impact call routing but I have noticed that CPU is at 50% currently with only 5 users logged in and no active calls taking place.

I've tried looking at the logs, but it also seems that when the service fails, the logs cease to be written to. Is there a way to turn up verbosity on the logs? Right now it seems that the logs are only capturing 'INFO' messages.

I believe I have enough resources allocated to this VM:
6 GB RAM
2 CPU

Has anyone else run into this issue where the Database Service service stops? It seems that this started to occur when I upgraded to version 16.

Please provide the following as you have little usable details atm..

OS Version(Windows 7, Windows Server 2016, Debian 8 or 9)
If Debian, did you build it manually, or install from the 3CX ISO

Debian 9
Built from 3CX ISO

Strange.... We have never had this issue, did you make any changes to the linux side, install any extra packages, etc...?

I did install vim, netcat, and traceroute, and mlocate.

none of those should make a difference...

You can run the top command in linux and see which processes are using up the CPU and then decide how to move forward.

Since you have a stopped service however, it might be more prudent to schedule a reboot and monitor the system afterwards

Thanks for the input. I have already restarted the system and so far it is fine. I'll continue to monitor but I don't have much faith that the Database Server Service will stay up.

As far as the CPU increase, this only happens once the service fails. So it's hard to know exactly when it will happen. top, currently, is fine.
