3cx sbc errors has no registered RTP session

What does this mean?

I have same error and occasional initial pause in audio(5 secs) when call first starts.

I get these as well, with regularity.

Only thing I have done to fix it is:

Turn off Windows Firewall
Re-install SBC software and don't use encryption
Change FQDN to Public IP in the configuration file.
uncomment the localSipAddr


That seems to help keep that issue from happening.

I should add that all of those tricks worked in v12 and v14 for that error. The irony being that about 10 minutes after I posted my reply- my audio cut out with this exact issue!

I"m running v15 on linux and i'm getting pretty consistent issues with my physical phones with one-way audio or no audio.

The 3CX for Windows clients that are on the same LAN work fine- but the physical phones keep getting this issue, so it is definitely something with the SBC.

So I got connected with Support and they sent me an internal build of SBC v15 that resolves this problem.

Apparently, it's a known issue on the current production build of SBC v15.


Once I installed the build they sent me - all the RTP problems went away.
