Hi all, We are just rolling out a new site with about 90 extensions. I've installed a new Hyper V server to add SBC to to. We have multiple networks on site so I've installed 2 SBC instances one feeding each side of the network.

One of the SBC's keeps sending me emails about every 30mins saying SBC has changed status to up. I have provisioned about 30 handsets today one after another and now I've stopped it seems to have settled down a little.

Has anybody had anything similar. I'm wondering if it's just because there is so much activity while rolling out handsets.

When you see multiple messages in the event log and email notifications sent regarding SBCs' status changing to up, they have disconnected from the 3CX System for under 5 minutes.

Now, if you register a 3CX mobile app to an extesnion on the same 3CX System, in which the mobile phone is connected to mobile data, and make a call to another extesnion on the same system, and leave this call open until you see the errors for the SBC, does the call on the mobile client, also disconnect, do you hear beeping indicating that the call is trying to reconnect?

Additionally, what are the specifications of the VMs that are used for the 3CX SBCs confined as required? Are they dedicated to 3CX SBCs with only one network card?

Hi Charles

I'll test a phone call tomorrow. The emails have currently stopped since 18.15gmt

The VMS are running 4 cores 2gig of ram and both have dedicated nic's except the SBC which has no issues shares a virtual switch with the host for VM connect management. There's only about 50 extensions behind the SBC the rest are we clients.

Just wanted to note that I experienced this previously and it was the firewall IPS/IDS services causing it, I had to whitelist the SBS ip address and this stopped.
