Good evening,

I am running a 3CX deployment in Microsoft Azure. This is a Linux appliance deployed from the 3CX template. I have logged into the Linux virtual machine, and found that system 3CXSystemService01.service is failing to start.

3CXSystemService01.service - 3CX PhoneSystem 01 System Server
Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/3CXSystemService01.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: failed (Result: timeout) since Mon 2020-10-26 19:21:27 UTC; 2 days ago
Process: 2339 ExecStart=/usr/lib/3cxpbx/3cxSystemService -p /var/run/phonesystem/3CXSystemService01.pid /var/lib/3cxpbx/Bin (code=killed, signal=KILL)
Main PID: 2339 (code=killed, signal=KILL)

Several other services are failing to start as well, but I assume its a result of the main service failing to start.
3CXQueueManager01.service, 3CXCallFlow01.service

Any direction on where I can check for what is stopping the service from starting? I have already tried rebooting the VM a few times with no positive results.

Hi in such cases I would say look into the following:

1. Are there any any 3rd party applications running whatsoever, or if this is fully dedicated to 3CX? If so remove them and keep the machine 100% dedicated

2. How was this deployed and what version was the PBX? You can redeploy using a backup and our Azure guide https://www.3cx.com/docs/hosting-pbx-phone-system-microsoft-azure/

3. How much ram does the machine have and how much free disk space? Insufficient resources are enough to make services not start , especially if it was already on the limit from before

4. Is there anything running that has bound to your SIP port? If anything takes up the SIP port then the service will not start and the rest that rely on it will not either

1. There are no 3rd party applications running whatsoever, this is fully dedicated to 3CX.

2. This was deployed via the PBX Express wizard.

3. The machine has 2gb of RAM and plenty of free disk space according to 'df'

4. I dont believe that there is anything running that is bound to the SIP port. When I run netstat -a, there is nothing listening on the SIP ports

Can you see anything further in the linux syslog?

dameon.log might contain something of use
