Hi

I have free license setup for the 3cx and we have problem. When we create a new extension, does not send welcome email. Since is free license as i understand we can not setup our own smtp , must be under 3cx domain. Any solution on that?

Have you checked your spam folders ?

Can you see the email hitting your email server ?

As you are running the free version, no option to change smtp settings

I know that i dont have the option to change smtp. And the problem is that never arrives in my mail server emails from 3cx smtp.

Silly question, you are clicking on 'Send Welcome Email'

You say it does not work for new extensions, what about existing extensions.

For new and existing extensions the same.

And you did a test to the default administrator?

Yes i did. Just for the info, when is configured the server i received 2-4 emails for first users. But after creating new one or existing does not send (or at least not received) I monitor all incoming emails so i know this is not on any spam or blocked message.

Hello @Georgios

Please navigate to Settings / Email and click on the Test button. Do you get an error there or does it send the email successfully. If you get an error, what is the error you are getting?

Yes, i get this error
AuthenticationInvalidCredentials: 5.7.0 Denied

FQDN IP is the same as i have set it up static from begining, no changes from initial setup. and FQDN resolves correctly.

Try the following:

Navigate to Settings / Network
Set the "External IP Configuration" to "Dynamic Public IP (IP changes)"
Restart services
Wait a few minutes and try the email test again. If this works you can set the IP back to static if you have a static IP.

Did that and seems that worked. Changed back to static IP and worked also. But now i get Login access denied. Too many incorrect login attempts. Try later or contact the Administrator.

You need to access your console from another wan IP address, as your one has been blacklisted.

When you are, on the front screen in PBX Status, you will see 'Blacklisted IPs', where you can delete your external wan IP address.

if you have not change any settings, the blacklist record is deleted after 24hrs

Yes i did that and i ma in again. But it should have an option to whitelist an IP not only blacklist. :)

In the IP blacklist option you can add your IP and set it ti allow like the 3CX webmeeting server are set. That will whitelist your IP.

Glad to see that issue has been resolved
